The Tahoe is still a full-size, body-on-frame boat hauler that rules the big-SUV set, but thoroughly revised inside and out. It’s still V-8–powered—although with direct-injection and a six-speed automatic. It’s more carlike than ever before and offers more high tech as well, with Chevrolet My Link available on the LT and LTZ trim levels. All-wheel drive is an option on all models; Magnetic Ride Control is standard on the LTZ. There’s ample cargo room, but a high load floor impedes access to it. Electrically assisted steering, chosen for its simplicity and fuel-economy ben¬efit, is also new.
